A View through a Window!

Oh what fun these little stitching projects have been! As part of the Textile.artist.org stitch club, we were tasked by Saima Kaur to create small little stories in stitch.

I think of them as windows into another world - and tried to give the effect of 'what's going on there?'

Through each window, we get a partial glimpse of a person or a scene. What are they up to? Is what you see in your first glance what is actually there? Or perhaps you should look closer!

Who is that you can spy? What are they up to? What are they like? What's this woman, in the picture below, smiling at?

Sometimes you're looking out of the window, rather than inside. Is this a pirate or a child who's hat has slipped down? Are they happy?

I've loved this task so much, I'm going to recreate something similar with the Being Ewe Stitch Club! Let's create some windows with a creative world on the other side!
