4 Day Craft Retreat 2

A 4 day retreat full of crafting and crocheting goodness! 

From Tuesday to Friday lunchtime enjoy good company, food and cake in a beautiful remote environment. Oh - and some craft too! All the crafts are based on the theme of Nature. A walk in the woods over the weekend inspires us. The weekends projects include dying skeins of yarn with flowers and other natural ingredients - then crocheting (or knitting) that yarn into the background for our flower pictures. We crochet flowers to make a posy. Alternatively, for those a little more advanced, we make a lotus flower with clear beads that look like water droplets. In addition to this project we make a macrame daisy key chain, a wire cat or dog - and learn the art of Dorset button making, creating a daisy button.

(Please note that I can teach crocheting, but not knitting - but I won't make you crochet if you'd rather knit the flower posy background!)

Join a friendly and informal group of people - maximum 6 people - for a fun and creative weekend. All meals are included, except for one night, to give you the chance to explore the local area's eateries. There will be lots of tea and cake!

You can choose to stay at the retreat, and all three rooms of Hill Top Haven are available.

Hill Top Haven is a rural old farmer/miner cottage in the middle of the North Pennines. 

If you'd like some peace and quite, with beautiful views, away from the stresses of your daily life, this is the place for you!

If you'd like to stay at the Hill Top Haven Retreat, we have the following rooms available:

Double ensuite room in the main house - this can be converted into a twin if you want to share the room with a friend/your sister/your Mum.

Smaller double room in the Annex  and a single room in the Annex. The two rooms in the Annex share a bathroom as well the upstairs living/kitchen/dining area and balcony.

These rooms are on a first come, first served basis - they are closed off to general public booking so as to be available for this retreat.

Alternatively, if you'd prefer to find your own accommodation, but still join the retreat, you're welcome to do so.

There are a maximum of 6 places available for the retreat.

All diets and allergies are catered for.

Groups are welcome. Please do contact me. Groups of 4 or more booking get a 5% discount.

Please note that I'm holding 6 craft retreats in 2022, with 3 different sets of crafts, so if this is fully booked, you want to try something different, or you want to try them all, carry on looking at the other dates!

Reserving your spot via this 'ticketed' event requires you to pay in full on booking.

However, if you'd like to pay in instalments, this is possible - just contact me.

You can pay in monthly instalments up to 6 weeks before the event. Alternatively you can pay 50% on booking, and 50% 6 weeks before the start of the event.

The price includes EVERYTHING except for one evening meal.

Included are:

all materials (c£50)

2 lunches, 2 dinners,  tea and coffee all day, cake and treats mid morning and mid afternoon, wine and cheese tasting and the hot chocolate/fire pit experience (£90)

About 20 hours of teaching (£165)

B&B for 3 nights (£65-£75/night)

The only thing to bring with you, other than your personal effects, are some wellies/walking boots for our walk!
