Monthly Stitch Club full of stitchy goodness! 

This month we're learning about...... couching

If you're providing your own materials, you will need:

A means of transferring the pattern to the fabric (a template will be e-mailed to you before the event)

Some fabric - we're using calico

An embroidery needle and a darning/wool needle

Some green (for the leaves) and pink (for the petals) macrame cord

A piece of fine yarn/perle thread for the grass

Perle thread in brown (preferably 2 colours of brown) for the soil

Yellow 6 stranded cotton

Pink 6 stranded cotton or equivalent to couch the petals

Perle size 12 green to couch the leaves and grass

Alternatively, substitute any of the above for something equivalent in your stash.
