About the Event
The next in the Stitches of the World Series comes the bright and beautiful Otomi Stitching from Mexico. Using a customised version of a favourite stitch, Otomi stitching uses bright and bold colours to portray flora and fauna. We use a white cotton and perle thread to create this colourful creation. It measures 25x35cm, so is larger than the usual being Ewe workshops - but this is more representative of the stitching works created by the Otomi people - of which you'll learn more in the class!
You can purchase the kit or provide your own materials, and details will be sent to you before the event.
This workshop will be held over 2 evenings - 13th and 20th of June.
