Cambridge Poetry Appreciation (Online!)

Join us for a friendly and informal poetry appreciation evening. Each month we'll read and discuss poetry on a theme, led by Alex Zens. Read a selection of poetry before the meeting, and we'll discuss themes, imagery, meaning and scansion amongst other things with a group of like minded people.. Perhaps you'll be inspired to write poetry of your own. Everyone is welcome, whether you're a poetry afficionado, or never read poetry before, but you're interested in learning more. 

The theme for the upcoming event is Nature, with a particular focus on two poems - 'I wandered lonely as a cloud' by William Wordsworth (in this, the 250th anniversary of his birth) and 'For Forest' by Grace Nichols.
